Senior Software Engineer, Developer Experience

As a Senior Software Engineer in the newly formed Developer Experience team at Signifyd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Signifyd's developers have a seamless and productive experience throughout the development lifecycle. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of developer tools, processes, and support channels within the company.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve developer productivity and satisfaction
• Streamlining CI/CD processes and toolchains
• Ensuring high reliability (99.99% SLOs) of build and deployment pipelines
• Implementing flexible deployment strategies (blue/green, canary, feature flags)
• Developing comprehensive testing frameworks and guidelines
• Improving local development setup and testing experiences
• Standardizing logging, observability, and repository management practices
• Driving service maturity through the development of internal platforms and scorecards
• Promoting data-driven insights through engineering scorecards and DORA metrics
• Participating in on-call rotations and leading incident responses related to CI/CD and testing tooling

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering or DevOps experience
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, Go, or other high-level languages
• In-depth knowledge of the development lifecycle and related technologies
• Experience with CI/CD systems, modern development tools, and observability stacks
• Solid background in security controls implementation
• BS in Computer Science or a related technical field
