Machine Learning Research Engineer / Scientist

At Silurian, we're pioneering the development of foundation models to simulate Earth's systems, with an initial focus on weather prediction. As a Machine Learning Research Engineer/Scientist at Silurian, you'll be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge AI models that tackle some of the most complex challenges in Earth system modeling. This is a unique opportunity to join an early-stage startup that's working on technology with potentially transformative impact on how we understand and predict Earth's systems.

We're a small but growing team of 5 members, founded in 2024 and based in Kirkland, WA, with additional presence in London. Our founding team brings together expertise from various backgrounds, led by Cristian Bodnar, Jayesh K. Gupta, and Nikhil Shankar. We're looking for talented individuals who share our passion for applying AI to solve complex real-world problems.
