As a Data Platform Developer at Similarweb, you'll be at the forefront of creating and optimizing core systems that handle our data, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery across the organization. You'll collaborate with a cross-functional team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts to drive innovation through data.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining data platforms for seamless data flow and integration
• Building and enhancing data pipelines to process large datasets
• Collaborating with teams to develop tools and features that optimize data utilization
• Troubleshooting and resolving data system issues
• Implementing new technologies to improve platform performance and capabilities

We're looking for candidates with:

• 2+ years of experience in backend development, data engineering, or similar fields
• Proficiency in Python (or other programming languages like Java/Scala)
• Experience with SQL and relational database management
• Knowledge of big data technologies and cloud platforms (a plus)
