Data Scripting Engineer

At Similarweb, we're seeking a Data Scripting Engineer to join our Data Integrity team in Prague. This role is crucial in ensuring our data quality, which powers decision-making for global leaders like Google, eBay, and Adidas.

As a Data Scripting Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our data processes:

• Investigate data issues: Launch investigations to understand and solve discrepancies and inconsistencies.
• Automate data processes: Utilize Python to streamline data analysis and ensure efficient operations.
• Create smart tools: Develop and maintain tools to enhance data processes and support faster, more accurate data management.
• Ensure data quality: Build and improve tools that maintain top-quality data for our customers and algorithms.

We're looking for someone with:

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, preferably in tech or online companies.
• 1+ years of Python scripting experience.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis.
• Strong statistical knowledge to effectively apply data principles.
• A passion for problem-solving, fast learning, and working with data.
• Enthusiasm for automating data processes and optimizing workflows.
