Senior Backend Developer

Similarweb is a data-oriented company where data is at the heart of our business. As a backend developer, you'll work directly in the core of the company, designing and implementing complex high-scale systems for collecting and analyzing data from millions of web users. Our backend developers are responsible for the entire data lifecycle - from our endless data lakes, through choosing the right databases, to our APIs.

What you'll do:

• Develop and integrate systems that process more than 50,000 events per second and serve various types of clients, both mobile and desktop.
• Manage data pipelines using Spark/Airflow frameworks.
• Design, code, and implement large-scale scalable systems using a wide range of technologies.
• Implement solutions in the AWS cloud environment, develop CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements:

• Ideally 4+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with one or more OOP languages (e.g., C#, Python, Java, Go, etc.).
• Familiarity with creating large-scale web applications.
• Experience with Microservices, AWS, and databases (DynamoDB, Redis, MySQL, Elasticsearch) is an advantage.
