Principal Mechanical Engineer

We're seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design and development of our innovative direct-to-consumer products. This role involves driving product design from concept through production, ensuring high standards of performance, reliability, and manufacturability. The ideal candidate will have a passion for understanding customers, delivering outstanding user experiences, and an expert grasp of mechanical systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading mechanical design, analysis, and development of consumer hardware products
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, especially industrial design and product management
• Driving the product development process from concept to production
• Utilizing 3D CAD software for mechanical models and drawings
• Performing engineering calculations and simulations
• Overseeing prototype development and testing
• Leading design reviews and working with suppliers and manufacturing partners
• Staying current with emerging technologies and mentoring junior engineers
