The position requires a skilled professional with 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, focusing on automation testing. You'll be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test plans, developing automated test scripts, and ensuring continuous quality validation through CI/CD integration. The role demands expertise in tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and Cucumber BDD, along with strong Java programming skills.

Responsibilities For Test Engineer (Automation)

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and cases for new and existing features
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and Cucumber BDD
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Track and manage defects using JIRA and Zephyr
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the QA team

Requirements For Test Engineer (Automation)

Java
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 3-5 years of industrial experience in software quality assurance
  • Minimum 3 years in automation testing
  • Proficiency in Java and Cucumber BDD framework
  • Experience with Selenium, Appium, and JUnit/TestNG
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub workflows
  • Strong API testing skills with Postman or JMeter
