Sinch is a leading company in customer communications, trusted by over 150,000 businesses including major players like Google, Uber, and PayPal. They specialize in providing a Customer Communications Cloud that enables engaging customer experiences through mobile messaging, voice, and email.

The Managed Services Engineer/Sentinel role is positioned within a DevOps team responsible for the Sentinel solution & services. This solution is built on an A2P traffic emulator and analyzer that operates across multiple Mobile Network Operators, utilizing Java-based servers in AWS and Android OS network probes.

The position combines technical expertise with operational responsibility, working in a team of Developers, Operations Engineers, and Administrators. Key responsibilities include maintaining the solution's daily operations, contributing to CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high service availability. The role requires someone who can handle both technical challenges and stakeholder management effectively.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, telecom/IT industry experience, and proficiency in scripting and Java development. They should be comfortable with multitasking, well-organized, and adaptable to change. Responsibilities For Managed Services Engineer/Sentinel

  • Daily Operation & Maintenance of the Solution (Including writing and updating scripts and configuring hardware)
  • Contribute to the CI/CD pipeline
  • Ensure high availability and service of the service
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure great deliveries and address and solve issues
  • Provide feedback for process improvements
  • Be available outside normal office hours for major emergencies

Java
