Responsibilities For Security Engineer

  • Assess and understand threat landscape by working with Cyber functions
  • Review security intelligence and research emerging threats
  • Build and tune security tools (EDR, email security, vulnerability scanning, SIEM)
  • Participate in 24/7 Incident Response coverage
  • Communicate security concepts to stakeholders
  • Establish and modify security runbooks
  • Monitor company assets and analyze network traffic

Requirements For Security Engineer

Linux
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Experience in threat, vulnerability, fraud or compliance
  • Background in cloud and container-based microservices security
  • Experience in security operations and incident command
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, OSI stack)
  • Experience with LogRhythm, Nessus, CASB tools
  • Industry-recognized security certification (CEH, CISSP, CCSP, CISA) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
