Senior DevOps Engineer

Sinch is a global leader in the growing market for Communication Platforms as a Service (CPaaS) and mobile customer engagement. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will work as part of the Infrastructure team to build automation and tools to deploy, monitor, and maintain platform health. You'll be working on improving our event-driven micro-service platform based on EKS/K8s, which was launched in 2024 and has EKS (Kubernetes) and knative at its core.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading efforts to ensure platform reliability
• Building/improving logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions
• Identifying and addressing infrastructure weaknesses
• Troubleshooting production issues
• Participating in on-call rotation for production support
• Supporting teams hosting their services on the platform

To be successful, you should have:

• Proven experience supporting Kubernetes in production
• Experience managing AWS cloud services
• Strong operations background
• Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions
• Expertise in IaaC tools like Terraform or CDK
• Familiarity with GitOps
• Software development background
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related experience

Additional beneficial skills include experience with Gitlab CI/CD, GCP, distributed databases like TiDB, IDP tools like Backstage or Port, and AWS networking basics.
