Pre-sales/Solutions Engineer

SingleStore is seeking a passionate Solutions Engineer to remove data bottlenecks for customers and enable real-time data capabilities for complex industry challenges. This role involves collaborating with sales teams and channel partners to identify customer pain points where SingleStore can provide solutions. The ideal candidate will deliver value-based demonstrations, presentations, and support proof of concepts to validate proposed solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Engaging with current and prospective clients to understand technical and business challenges
• Presenting and demonstrating SingleStore product offerings to Fortune 500 companies
• Providing valuable feedback to product teams based on client interactions
• Staying up-to-date with database technologies and SingleStore product offerings

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical pre-sales role
• Broad experience with large-scale database and data warehousing technologies
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Experience with Kubernetes and Linux (preferred)
• Proficiency in ANSI SQL query languages
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java
• Understanding of private and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware)
• Experience with data engineering tools like Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, and ETL tools
• Knowledge of cloud, AI, and prompt engineering (preferred)
