Software Engineer, Managed Service

As a Software Engineer in the managed service team, you'll design and implement new capabilities for our cloud offering, involving deep extensions to networking, control plane, and overall managed service. You'll work closely with product teams to meet the needs of our most demanding customers. This role sits at the intersection of leading technology trends: a highly performant distributed database, managed by Kubernetes, running in the cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, customers, and other engineers
• Develop a world-class managed service for an innovative operational database solution in the cloud
• Contribute to the team's engineering process to improve scalability and timely project delivery
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a welcoming team environment

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience with distributed systems, preferably using Golang, Python, or Rust
• Experience with Kubernetes and/or containerized services
• 2+ years of experience working on a SaaS product
• Intellectual curiosity about investigating issues impacting business metrics
• Passion for building high-quality, robust, and maintainable products in a fast-paced environment
