As a Software Engineer in our Managed Services team, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, working on challenging technical problems in networking, control plane, and scaling services. You'll design and implement new capabilities for our cloud offering, extending our networking, control plane, and overall managed service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with product teams to meet the needs of demanding customers
- Designing and developing world-class managed services for cloud-based database solutions
- Working with cutting-edge technologies like Kubernetes, Go, and cloud services
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a positive team environment
We're looking for candidates with:
- Strong experience in Kubernetes and containerized services
- Expertise in networking technologies for major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of tools like Private Links, Nginx, Envoy, and Istio
- Experience with distributed systems, preferably using Go, Python, or C/C++
- 2+ years of experience working on SaaS products
- Passion for building high-quality, robust, and maintainable products

Responsibilities For Software Engineer, Managed Services
- Work closely with product managers, designers, customers, and other engineers to ensure we deliver a high-quality experience
- Develop a world-class managed service responsible for providing an innovative operational database solution in the cloud
- Proactively contribute to the team's engineering process to assist with our ability to scale and deliver projects on time
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a welcoming team environment
Requirements For Software Engineer, Managed Services
- Must have experience working with Kubernetes and/or containerized services
- Must have experience working with networking technologies in major clouds like AWS, Azure & GCP, preferably using Private Links, Nginx, Envoy, Istio
- Good to have experience working with distributed systems, preferably using Golang, Python, or C/C++
- 2+ years of experience working on a SaaS product
- Intellectual curiosity about investigating issues that impact business metrics
- Passion for building high-quality products that are robust and easy to maintain in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
