As a Software Engineer in Managed Services, you'll be at the intersection of leading technology trends, working with a highly performant distributed database managed by Kubernetes and running in the cloud. You'll design and implement new capabilities for our cloud offering, focusing on networking, control plane, and scaling services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with product managers, designers, and customers to deliver high-quality experiences
- Developing a world-class managed service for innovative operational database solutions in the cloud
- Contributing to the team's engineering process to improve scalability and timely project delivery
- Mentoring junior engineers and fostering a welcoming team environment
Required skills:
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized services
- Expertise in networking technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, Private Links, Nginx, Envoy, Istio)
- 2+ years of experience working on a SaaS product
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or C/C++ for distributed systems
- Passion for building robust, maintainable products in a fast-paced environment

- Work closely with product managers, designers, customers, and other engineers to ensure we deliver a high-quality experience
- Develop a world-class managed service responsible for providing an innovative operational database solution in the cloud
- Proactively contribute to the team's engineering process to assist with our ability to scale and deliver projects on time
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a welcoming team environment
Requirements For Software Engineer, Managed Services
- Must have experience working with Kubernetes and/or containerized services
- Must have experience working with networking technologies in major clouds like AWS, Azure & GCP, preferably using Private Links, Nginx, Envoy, Istio
- Good to have experience working with distributed systems, preferably using Golang, Python, or C/C++
- 2+ years of experience working on a SaaS product
- Intellectual curiosity about investigating issues that impact business metrics
- Passion for building high-quality products that are robust and easy to maintain in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
