Solutions Engineer

SingleStore is seeking a passionate Solutions Engineer in Mumbai to tackle complex data challenges and enable real-time data capabilities for customers. This role involves working directly with sales teams and channel partners to identify customer pain points where SingleStore can remove bottlenecks and deliver real-time solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Engaging with current and prospective clients to understand technical and business challenges
• Presenting and demonstrating SingleStore product offerings to Fortune 500 companies
• Providing value-based demonstrations, presentations, and supporting proof of concepts
• Offering feedback to product teams based on client interactions
• Staying updated on database technologies and SingleStore product offerings

The ideal candidate should have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical pre-sales role
• Broad experience with large-scale database and data warehousing technologies
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Experience with Kubernetes and Linux (preferred)
• Proficiency in ANSI SQL query languages and Python, Scala, or Java
• Understanding of private and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware)
• Experience with data engineering tools like Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, and ETL tools
• Knowledge of cutting-edge cloud products and companies
