SiteMinder is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their team in Manila. This role involves building frontend solutions and features using the latest technology in an agile environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Javascript/Typescript and modern frontend frameworks (preferably Vue.js or React), and be able to deliver engaging experiences using technologies such as Vue.js, TypeScript, Webpack, GraphQL, and RESTful APIs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering scalable and testable high-quality frontend code
- Working in a cross-functional team and participating in sprint planning and other agile ceremonies
- Leading features from technical design to implementation and release
- Collaborating with other engineers and product owners to solve business problems
- Contributing to code reviews and documentation
- Onboarding and mentoring junior engineers
The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive professional experience with Javascript/Typescript and modern frontend frameworks
- Experience building and maintaining large-scale production platforms
- Ability to write clean, well-organized code
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
- Understanding of frontend ecosystems and familiarity with responsive design, REST APIs, and GraphQL

Responsibilities For Senior Frontend Engineer
- Deliver engaging experiences using the latest in front-end technologies, including Vue.js, TypeScript, Webpack, GraphQL and Restful APIs, Node.js
- Build scalable and testable high quality frontend code
- Work in a cross-functional team and participate in sprint planning, refinement, retrospective and demos
- Feature lead and lead features from technical design, implementation to release
- Collaborate with other engineers and the product owner to help deliver solutions that solve business problems
- Contribute to code reviews and documentation
- Onboard and mentor junior engineers
- Keep up to date with best practices and latest technologies
Requirements For Senior Frontend Engineer
- Extensive professional experience with Javascript/Typescript and a modern frontend framework (either Vue or React)
- Experience building and maintaining large scale production platforms using modern web technologies
- Ability to write clean, well-organised code while making appropriate trade-offs
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
- Understanding of a frontend ecosystem - bundling, linting, testing and releasing code
- Ability and willingness to learn new frameworks and paradigms
- Familiarity with responsive design
- Familiarity integrating with REST APIs, GraphQL
- Familiarity with build pipelines and CI/CD systems
