Description For Mechanical Engineer (m/f/x)

Skeleton Technologies is seeking a driven Mechanical Engineer to join their Engineering department. The role involves creating deliverables according to the development process, ensuring customer requirements are met with design solutions, studying and applying standards, participating in risk assessment, building prototypes, communicating with suppliers and external partners, supporting project management, and cooperating with the procurement team.

Responsibilities For Mechanical Engineer (m/f/x)

  • Create deliverables and perform activities according to development process
  • Understand and ensure fulfillment of customer requirements with design solutions
  • Study and assess applicability of standards and requirements to projects or products
  • Participate in product design/process risk assessment and mitigation
  • Build prototypes and perform testing to validate design solutions
  • Communicate with component suppliers, external consultants, and companies
  • Support project management in customer discussions
  • Cooperate with procurement team to ensure design meets target cost
  • Keep up to date with company processes and their updates

Requirements For Mechanical Engineer (m/f/x)

  • University degree in mechanical engineering
  • At least two years' experience in mechanical engineering
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software SolidWorks
  • Experience in prototyping and building
  • Ability to read and research standards
  • Analytical problem-solving skills
  • Good self-management and willingness to face challenges
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written
  • Independent and resourceful
  • Energetic and self-driven personality
