Senior Full Stack Engineer (Ruby on Rails)

Skydropx, a company innovating logistics, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer specializing in Ruby on Rails. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, ambitious, and multicultural environment with a team of visionary individuals passionate about growth and changing the world.

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of developing and optimizing the Skydropx platform, which manages shipping processes for thousands of businesses. Your primary focus will be on Ruby on Rails development, with additional work in JavaScript. You'll be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing key features, ensuring high-quality standards through comprehensive testing and performance monitoring.

The ideal candidate is a solid Ruby on Rails developer or a polyglot programmer capable of adapting to Ruby on Rails. You should have advanced knowledge of garbage collectors, language interpreters, and virtual machines, with experience in concurrency and parallelism. Your expertise should extend to writing clean, well-tested, and performant code, particularly in Ruby on Rails.

This role requires familiarity with various web technologies, including servers like Puma or Gunicorn, web frameworks like Rails or Django, background job processors like Sidekiq or Karafka, and test frameworks like RSpec. You should also be comfortable with advanced programming concepts such as metaprogramming, DSLs, and aspect-oriented programming.
