Senior Full Stack Engineer (Ruby on Rails)

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of developing and optimizing shipping processes for thousands of businesses. Your primary focus will be on Ruby on Rails development, with additional work in JavaScript. You'll be responsible for owning the architecture, design, and implementation of key features of the Skydropx platform.

The ideal candidate is a solid Ruby on Rails developer or a polyglot programmer who can quickly adapt to Ruby on Rails. You should have advanced knowledge of garbage collectors, language interpreters, and virtual machines, with experience in concurrency and parallelism. Your expertise in writing clean, well-tested, performant, and idiomatic code is crucial.

This role requires familiarity with various technologies including servers like Puma or Gunicorn, web frameworks like Rails or Django, background job processors like Sidekiq or Karafka, and test frameworks like RSpec. You should be comfortable with advanced programming concepts such as metaprogramming, DSLs, and aspect-oriented programming.

At Skydropx, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure high-quality standards through comprehensive testing and performance monitoring, and continuously learn and dive into Ruby internals. You'll work closely with the broader engineering team to share knowledge and drive best practices.
