Autonomy Engineer II

SkyGrid, a Boeing, Avathon Company, is revolutionizing airspace automation from their base in Austin, Texas. We're seeking an Autonomy Engineer II to join our mission of enabling safe autonomous flight operations. This role combines cutting-edge technology with practical applications in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and Air Traffic Management (ATM).

The position requires 3 years of autonomy engineering experience and offers an opportunity to work on groundbreaking solutions for airspace integration. You'll be responsible for developing autonomous air traffic management functions, from concept to prototype, while collaborating with product teams and software engineers to implement these solutions.

We're looking for someone with a strong background in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or Robotics, with proven experience in algorithm development for autonomous systems. Proficiency in Python and C/C++ is essential, as is experience with Software-in-the-Loop testing and air traffic management research.
