Responsibilities For Senior Hardware Engineer
- Lead and manage a team of electronic hardware engineers, provide mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluations
- Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure the team meets project deadlines and milestones
- Develop electronic hardware and software requirements and detailed interface specifications
- Review and approve designs, ensuring alignment with project objectives and regulatory standards
- Direct and review electronic hardware requirements validation activities
- Establish best practices and processes for rigorous system design and verification
- Monitor and guide supplier performance
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders
Requirements For Senior Hardware Engineer
- B.S. in Engineering/STEM and 10+ years related experience in aerospace or telecom industry
- Previous leadership or team management experience in electronic hardware development
- Experience with Visio or Lucid charts for creation of block diagrams and schematics
- Experience with RTCA DO-160 or DO-380
- Experience with RTCA DO-254 for design assurance of complex electronic hardware
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience in requirements management and system integration
- Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
