Responsibilities For Embedded Software Verification Engineer

  • Develop and review high-level and low-level requirements in Polarion, aligning with DO-178C objectives
  • Perform software verification through requirement-based test cases
  • Collaborate with systems engineers and DER to support SOI audits and certification processes
  • Collaborate with software and verification engineers to improve requirements
  • Support development and execution of software testing using LDRA, C/C++, and Python
  • Develop software verification plans, execute test procedures and document results

Requirements For Embedded Software Verification Engineer

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in software verification within Aerospace/Avionics or Flight Control Systems
  • Proficient in C/C++ and Python for embedded software development and testing
  • Experience with DO-178C standards
  • Experience with high-level and low-level requirements tools like Polarion or DOORS
  • Strong problem-solving skills in software verification and validation
  • Ability to work independently and communicate with multidisciplinary teams
