Flight Test Engineer

As a Flight Test Engineer at Skyryse, you'll be at the forefront of developing and testing the most advanced flight control and automation technology in the world.

Your role will involve creating innovative flight test plans and cards while ensuring flight safety. You'll work closely with the chief pilot, operating flight instrumentation that you may have designed yourself. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and a passion for aviation safety.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing Go/NoGo parameters and conducting post-flight data analysis
• Supporting flight squawks creation and lifecycle management
• Planning and leading data collection ground tests
• Communicating test priorities and ensuring successful flight operations
• Running flight test planning, reviews, and analysis using MATLAB/Simulink
• Aiding in the development of certification flight test plans
• Collaborating with GNC and Flight Test teams

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering or a related field, with 2+ years of professional experience. Advanced degrees, experience with flight testing and FAA certification programs, and proficiency in data analysis tools like MATLAB are highly valued.
