As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Skyryse, you'll be at the forefront of developing one of the most advanced flight control systems in the world.

You'll work on SkyOS, their industry-first universal operating system for flight, which provides airplanes and helicopters with a fly-by-wire flight management solution that significantly reduces the complexity of flying. Skyryse One, their first production aircraft powered by SkyOS, was unveiled in 2024 and features the simplest, safest, and most intuitive flight controls in general aviation.

In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and prototyping critical components of their advanced flight control systems. You'll work alongside some of the industry's most talented professionals, contributing to changing the way the world moves. Your expertise in electrical engineering will be crucial in developing avionics hardware that complies with industry standards and ensures the highest level of safety and reliability.

Responsibilities For Senior Electrical Engineer

  • Develop, test, and implement electrical systems for SkyOS
  • Design avionics hardware that complies with DO-160, DO-254 and other industry standards
  • Provide hands on support and troubleshooting of flight critical electronics within our systems integration lab
  • Work cross functionally with other technical teams and systems engineers to ensure our system meets and exceeds customer requirements
  • Develop Test Plans and Procedures
  • Design Test Fixtures

Requirements For Senior Electrical Engineer

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 9 years aerospace-related engineering experience
  • Experience with Digital, Analog and power electronics product design with focus on Digital electronics
  • Schematic Capture and PCB layout experience with Altium Designer or similar
