Description For Customer Success Engineer - Insight

SmartBear, a leading provider of software development and visibility tools, is seeking a Customer Success Engineer to join their Customer Success team. This role combines technical expertise with customer advocacy, focusing on helping enterprise customers succeed with SmartBear's suite of products in Observability, Mobile Application Development, and Application Performance Management.

The ideal candidate will serve as a technical bridge between customers and SmartBear's solutions, providing expertise, training, and implementation guidance. With a required background in Computer Science and 4+ years of customer-facing technical experience, you'll work closely with enterprise clients to ensure successful adoption and implementation of SmartBear's technology portfolio.

This position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies while developing deep technical expertise in API Lifecycle, Observability, and Testing workflows. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success Managers, to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities For Customer Success Engineer - Insight

  • Become an expert in API Lifecycle, Observability, Performance Testing, Test Management or UI Testing workflows
  • Serve as product subject matter expert and thought leader
  • Be a customer advocate and capture customer feedback
  • Analyze and report root causes impacting customer satisfaction
  • Partner with Product Support, Product Management & Sales Engineering teams
  • Conduct training sessions and presentations
  • Work with CSM and sales teams to ensure strong handoffs
  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer experience

Requirements For Customer Success Engineer - Insight

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4 years of customer interaction and technical implementation experience
  • Experience in JavaScript, Java, Swift, Kotlin, or Objective-C
  • Strong technical aptitude and drive to understand technology
  • Excellent multitasking and project management skills
  • Fluency in English required
  • Able to work specific hours 12-9PM CEST
