Description For Customer Success Engineer - Test Hub

SmartBear, a leading provider of developer tools trusted by over 16 million professionals worldwide, is seeking a Customer Success Engineer for their Test Hub team. This role represents a unique opportunity to work with a company that powers tools used by major organizations like Adobe, JetBlue, FedEx, and Microsoft.

The position combines technical expertise with customer success, requiring someone who can bridge the gap between complex testing solutions and enterprise customer needs. As a Customer Success Engineer, you'll be responsible for becoming a subject matter expert in Performance Testing, Test Management, and UI Testing workflows, while working directly with enterprise customers to ensure their success with SmartBear's products.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation with at least 5 years of experience in customer-facing technical roles. You'll need expertise in QA automation, test management, and modern development practices including cloud computing and containerization. This role offers the perfect blend of technical challenge and customer interaction, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both solving complex problems and helping others succeed.

Responsibilities For Customer Success Engineer - Test Hub

  • Become an expert in Performance Testing, Test Management or UI Testing workflows
  • Serve as product subject matter expert and thought leader
  • Be a customer advocate and capture customer feedback
  • Analyze and report root causes impacting customer satisfaction
  • Partner with Product Support, Product Management & Sales Engineering teams
  • Stay ahead of cutting edge SmartBear technologies
  • Work with CSM and sales teams to ensure strong handoffs
  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer experience
  • Conduct 1:1 and one-to-many training sessions

Requirements For Customer Success Engineer - Test Hub

Kubernetes
JavaScript
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or similar technical degree
  • 5+ years of customer interaction and technical implementation experience
  • Proficiency in UI QA Automation tools, Test Management solutions, and Automation Frameworks
  • Experience with cloud computing & containerized software deployments
  • QA background in automated, manual, functional & nonfunctional testing
  • Strong technical aptitude and drive to understand technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in English required
  • Able to work specific hours 9-5pm EST
