Description For FullStack Engineer - SmartBear Platform Services

SmartBear, a leading provider of software development and visibility tools, is seeking a FullStack Engineer for their Platform Services team. This role focuses on building and improving the SmartBear Platform, a set of integrations and services that enable seamless integration across SmartBear products. The position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies including TypeScript, Node.js, and React, while collaborating with global teams of developers, testers, and product managers.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in full-stack development, with strong expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and React. They should be proficient in relational databases, CI/CD pipelines, and have experience with high-volume SaaS applications on AWS. Knowledge of event-driven architecture and DevOps tools is a plus.

  • Contribute to evolve the architecture of the SmartBear Platform
  • Contribute to technical discussions and requirements analysis with internal partners
  • Drive high engineering standards through peer design and code reviews
  • Collaborate with teams of developers, testers, UX designers, and product managers globally
  • Build new features and improve efficiency of existing services
  • Work on building SmartBear Platform capabilities

  • English written and verbal communication skills on at least B2 level
