Responsibilities For Lead Full-Stack Engineer – Platform Services
- Lead the development and architecture of the SmartBear Platform
- Design and implement scalable services for all products
- Provide technical leadership for front-end and back-end engineering stack
- Lead technical discussions and requirements analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Drive high engineering standards and code quality
- Ensure code quality meets established guidelines
- Work with geographically distributed teams
Requirements For Lead Full-Stack Engineer – Platform Services
- 10+ years of experience in Full-stack development
- Experience in high-volume SaaS applications with AWS
- Experience with AWS serverless/lambda microservice architecture
- Solid understanding of object-oriented and functional programming
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes containerized environments
- Experience with event streaming systems (Kafka, Active MQ, EventBridge)
- Experience with high load RDBMS and NoSQL databases
- Proficiency in API design
- Knowledge of observability tools
- Product security engineering and OWASP knowledge
- English communication skills at B2 level or higher
