Senior Product Support Engineer, BugSnag

SmartBear, a leader in software development tools, is seeking a Senior Product Support Engineer for BugSnag, their software stability platform used by over 5,000 engineering teams worldwide. This role involves providing in-depth technical support to highly technical customers, helping them integrate BugSnag's open source notifier libraries into their applications. You'll troubleshoot issues, collaborate with development teams, and have the opportunity to work on bug fixes and product enhancements.

As a Senior Product Support Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

• Solving technical support issues via email, GitHub, screenshare, and live chat
• Collaborating with internal teams to propose solutions
• Identifying and defining bug fixes
• Becoming a subject matter expert in BugSnag's products and supported languages
• Developing tools and enhancing documentation to improve support processes
• Working out-of-hours on-call weekend work on a rotating basis

The ideal candidate should have:

• Excellent communication skills in English
• A systematic approach to problem-solving
• Experience as a mid-level software engineer
• Commercial experience in at least two categories: Mobile (Android, iOS, React Native), JavaScript, Scripting languages, or Server-side languages
