Responsibilities For Senior Data Engineer (Smartsourcing - Information Management)
- Automate data extraction from diverse sources
- Load data into centralized repository and construct data models for reporting
- Collaborate with BI report developers and stakeholders
- Document business requirements for reporting needs
- Maintain data structures and metadata
- Analyze trends of tools used by Data Engineering team
- Prepare business documents and presentations
- Work across business lines to gather requirements
- Conduct routine audits of data storage systems
- Mentor team members and oversee overall performance
Requirements For Senior Data Engineer (Smartsourcing - Information Management)
- Bachelor's Degree in computer-related courses, Information Management, or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years experience in ETL/ELT work
- 2-3 years experience in creating data models for reporting purposes
- 2-3 years experience of using reusable framework for ETL/ELT work
- Experience with ETL tools like Azure Data Factory, Databricks
- Proficient in SQL Database Stored Procedures, Functions, Views
- Experience in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing
- Experience with Python for data extraction (preferred)
- Experience with Power BI for visualization (preferred)
