Description For Plumbing Remedial Engineer

SMS Environmental is seeking an experienced, qualified remedial plumber to join their expanding plumbing team, based across Hampshire and Berkshire areas. This role ensures the highest quality delivery of remedial plumbing tasks, travelling across regional areas to deliver top-notch plumbing and customer service levels.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality remedial plumbing tasks
  • Conducting water testing and control work, including sampling
  • Partnering with Water Treatment Engineers for tank disinfections
  • Effectively resolving problems at site level
  • Identifying and reporting non-compliances at client premises
  • Reporting water system conditions to Account Managers
  • Supporting and assisting in the development of new plumbers and colleagues
  • Building effective relationships daily with various clients

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 Plumbing & Heating qualification
  • Remedial plumbing experience in domestic or commercial environments
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a team or as a lone worker
  • IT skills, with the ability to use iPad technology accurately
  • Full UK Manual Driving license
  • DBS check (cost covered by SMS Environmental if not already held)

SMS Environmental offers a competitive base salary of £38,000 (depending on experience) plus paid overtime, with OTE £48,000. The company is committed to diversity and welcomes applications from all candidates.
