Description For Water Treatment Engineer
SMS Environmental is seeking a Water Treatment Engineer to join their experienced team. This role involves pre-planned maintenance of water hygiene works for clients across Berkshire. The ideal candidate will have previous water hygiene experience in a legionella-focused role and experience servicing TMVs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Temperature checking
- Cleaning and disinfecting showers
- Checking and cleaning water tanks and systems
- Delivering TMV checks and maintenance
- Completing work on in-house software using an iPad
- Providing high standards of customer service
The position offers numerous benefits, including:

Requirements For Water Treatment Engineer
- Previous water hygiene experience within legionella focused role
- Experience servicing TMVs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience working across various customer sectors
- Previous experience using iPad technology
- Full UK manual Driving Licence
- Right to Work in the UK
- DBS check (company will cover the cost)
