Water Treatment Engineer

SMS Environmental is seeking a Water Treatment Engineer to join their experienced team. This role involves pre-planned maintenance of water hygiene works for client sites across Edinburgh, with flexibility to travel to Stirlingshire & Lanarkshire as required. The position is field-based, with normal working hours from 8am-4pm (40 hours a week), plus paid overtime available.

Key responsibilities include:

• Temperature checking
• Cleaning and disinfecting showers
• Checking and cleaning water tanks and systems
• Delivering TMV checks and maintenance
• Completing all work on in-house software using an iPad
• Providing high standards of customer service to varied client sites

The ideal candidate should have:

• Previous water hygiene experience within a legionella-focused role
• Experience servicing TMVs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Prior experience working across various customer sectors
• Previous experience using iPad technology
• A full UK manual driving license
