Description For IT Support Engineer

Snappi, a pioneering neobank, is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join their team in Athens, Greece. This role is crucial in providing technical assistance and support to end-users within the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, managing IT service requests, and ensuring smooth operation of IT systems.

Key responsibilities include providing first and second-level support for various technologies, managing user accounts and identities, administering Office 365 services, device management through Microsoft Intune, basic network support, and maintaining conference room equipment. The role also involves ensuring security and compliance, as well as documenting IT processes and providing user training.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, proven IT support experience, and strong knowledge of Azure AD and Office 365 administration. Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, networking concepts, and Fortinet equipment is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities are essential.

Responsibilities For IT Support Engineer

  • Provide first and second-level support to end-users for hardware, applications, and cloud-based services
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to Windows and MacOS environments, Office 365 applications, and other enterprise software
  • Support IT Operations Team
  • Manage and maintain user accounts, groups, and roles within Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Administer and support Office 365 services
  • Manage and deploy devices using Microsoft Intune
  • Provide basic network troubleshooting
  • Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot conference room equipment
  • Monitor and respond to security alerts
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT processes, procedures, and configurations
  • Provide training and support to end-users

Requirements For IT Support Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer or in a similar role
  • Good knowledge of Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) and Office 365 administration
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune for device management is a plus
  • Familiarity with basic networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
  • Familiarity with Fortinet equipment is a plus
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or similar are a plus
  • Fluent in English. Other languages a plus
