Senior Software Engineer Cloud Services

Snowflake is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer for their Cloud Services team. This role is part of the cloud engineering organization, focusing on using engineering and software practices to manage and scale cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will work on CSP relationships, vCSP, and build a deep understanding of Snowflake's service to optimize and evolve infrastructure reliability, availability, serviceability, and profitability.

Key responsibilities include introducing automation tools, architecting observability infrastructure, participating in on-call rotations, creating runtime tools for cloud triaging, defining best practices, and leading complex technical projects. The role requires expertise in cloud computing, distributed systems, and software development.

The successful candidate will have multiple years of experience in software engineering or DevOps, strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and experience with distributed database systems. Proficiency in languages like Java, Python, Go, or C++ is essential, along with experience in cloud computing toolsets, configuration management, and networking.
