We are seeking an experienced AWS Developer to join a global banking operation. The role focuses on cloud infrastructure development and management using AWS services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing scalable solutions, managing cloud costs, ensuring security compliance, and leading cloud migration projects. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies while maintaining high security standards in a banking environment. The role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, including mentoring junior specialists and providing strategic advice to stakeholders. Working in an Agile environment, you'll have the flexibility to work remotely while handling challenging projects that impact global banking operations.
Responsibilities For AWS Developer
- Develop and maintain scalable and efficient cloud infrastructure using AWS services like Lambda, CloudWatch, S3, and others
- Analyze and manage cloud expenses to ensure cost-effective solutions using knowledge of financial operations and cloud cost management
- Ensure compliance with industry security standards across all deployed cloud services
- Provide expert advice and best practices for cloud deployment and management to team members and stakeholders
- Lead the onboarding of junior cloud specialists, sharing knowledge and best practices
- Manage projects involving cloud migrations, from planning through to execution
- Utilize Agile methodologies to manage project timelines and deliverables effectively
Requirements For AWS Developer
- Knowledge of server virtualization with VMware as well as Windows/Linux distributions
- In-depth experience with the common cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, SAP, etc.)
- Experience with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, AWS, IoT, API Gateway, CloudFormation, EventBridge, Glue
- Understanding of price drivers and cloud cost management (Financial Operations)
- Proficient in: Python, Terraform
- Advanced knowledge of information security operations in cloud architectures
- Fluency in English
- Familiar with Agile methodologies (Nice to have)
- Familiar with ITIL Experience in using common tools like JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow (Nice to have)
- Experience in migrating from On-Premises to AWS (Nice to have)
