Softeta, a computer software company, is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join their team. You will be working for a leading European financial services group, focusing on establishing a reporting team to meet legal and regulatory demands.

As a Data Engineer, you will:

  • Help establish integrations to the new data platform
  • Focus on Next Generation Custody specific data analytics and reporting needs
  • Utilize the data platform to build reports and analytics
  • Be part of establishing data products and incorporating them into reports and market place
  • Collaborate with architects, product owners, and other developers

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and experience with services like BigQuery, Dataform, Dataflow, and Cloud Functions
  • Advanced programming skills in Python
  • Competence in SQL programming for data manipulation and querying
  • Familiarity with version control systems (GitLab or GitHub)
  • Experience with Tableau/Looker
  • Knowledge of Terraform for managing cloud infrastructure
  • Understanding of data processes like ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data quality management
  • Fundamental understanding of CI/CD practices
