SOGECLAIR, established in 1962, is a prestigious engineering group specializing in high technologies with a global presence. The company, through its SOGECLAIR DIGITAL ENGINEERING division, is seeking a Stress Engineer to join their team in Getafe, Spain.

The role involves working within an international project team, focusing on structural calculation activities. The position requires expertise in producing finite element models and conducting various mechanical analyses including static, dynamic, non-linear, and shock calculations.

The company brings high-tech engineering skills to cutting-edge sectors including aeronautical, space, rail, and naval industries. Their expertise spans aerostructure and systems installation, aircraft interiors, industrialization, configuration management, and environmental transition.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in structural calculation, strong language skills (Spanish C1, English B2 or French), and mastery of calculation tools like PATRAN/NASTRAN and HYPERWORKS. They should possess a strong understanding of aeronautical design in both metal and composite materials.

Responsibilities For Stress Engineer (m/w/d)

  • Identify regulatory requirements and define compliance demonstration means
  • Propose and implement calculation methods
  • Perform calculation analyses using analytical methods and Finite Element Models
  • Provide summaries of calculation results and propose improvements
  • Write justification and certification documents

Requirements For Stress Engineer (m/w/d)

  • Spanish (C1 level) and English (B2 level) or French language skills
  • Minimum 2 years experience in structural calculation
  • Very good knowledge of aeronautical design in metal and composite
  • Good sense of physics and practical approach
  • Mastery of calculation tools (PATRAN/NASTRAN, HYPERWORKS)
