The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating and maintaining test suites for Android mobile app features, monitoring test execution reports, and supporting release validations.
Key responsibilities include increasing automation coverage, fixing tests to maintain pass rates, and performing manual testing when necessary. The engineer will work closely with product and development teams to analyze upcoming features, create test plans, and document test cases. They will also be tasked with maintaining and enhancing the internal test framework built on UIAutomator/Espresso.
Requirements for this position include proficiency in Kotlin, experience with UIAutomator and Espresso test frameworks, familiarity with Android Studio, and knowledge of cloud testing platforms like BrowserStack. The candidate should be well-versed in Agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM, and have experience with test case management tools, CI/CD pipelines (Bitrise), Git, and Jira. Advanced-Intermediate English proficiency (B2+) is essential for effective communication within the team.
