Test Automation Engineer (Web)

We're seeking a Test Automation Engineer (Web) to join our team working on a social news aggregation platform. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to a dynamic project.

As a Test Automation Engineer, you'll be responsible for automating and maintaining test suites for web applications, increasing automation coverage, and ensuring high pass rates. You'll monitor test execution reports, support release validations, and work closely with product and development teams to analyze features and create test plans.

Key responsibilities include:

• Automating and maintaining test suites for web app features
• Monitoring test execution reports and raising issues
• Supporting weekly release validations
• Conducting manual testing for non-automated scenarios
• Collaborating with product/development teams on feature analysis and test planning
• Maintaining and enhancing the internal test framework using Playwright and TypeScript

We're looking for candidates with:

• 3+ years of experience in Web testing
• Strong understanding of web testing concepts and methodologies
• Proficiency in TypeScript and experience with Playwright
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git)
• Experience with test case management tools and Jira
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
