Sonar is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their growing team. As a Solutions Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in providing deep technical expertise to prospective customers and supporting them in evaluating Sonar's solutions. You'll work as part of the Sales process and engage with Marketing, Product Management, and Development teams to provide feedback on product evolution and messaging.
Key responsibilities include:
- Helping prospective customers understand how Sonar's Clean as You Code approach fits within their software development lifecycle
- Driving technical aspects of pre-sales opportunities through presentations, demonstrations, and product evaluations
- Advising customers on the best alignment of Sonar solutions with their deployment strategies
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical problems during product evaluations
- Ensuring successful product adoption and growth post-purchase
- Providing technical enablement to channel partners
The ideal candidate will have:
- 10+ years of practical experience in software development or DevOps engineering
- Excellent presentation skills
- Working knowledge of local and cloud-based software deployment platforms and technologies
- Ability to deliver compelling demonstrations and dive into complex technical problems
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- A can-do attitude and willingness to challenge the status quo
