Solutions Engineer - Federal Agencies

Sonar, the Home of Clean Code, is seeking a Solutions Engineer for Federal Agencies to join their team. This role is crucial in providing deep technical expertise to prospects and supporting them in evaluating Sonar's solutions. As a Solutions Engineer, you'll work within the Sales process and engage with Marketing, Product Management, and Development teams to provide feedback on product capabilities for Federal/Public Sector customers.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in software development or DevOps engineering, along with proven experience supporting Federal software sales. You'll need excellent presentation skills, technical understanding of software-adjacent compliance standards, and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems.

Key responsibilities include helping Federal customers understand how Sonar's solutions fit their software development lifecycle, driving technical aspects of pre-sales opportunities, and ensuring successful product adoption post-purchase. You'll also advise on deployment strategies and help existing customers understand advanced product editions.
