As a Jr. QA Framework Developer, you'll be integral to developing and maintaining test frameworks that ensure the quality of cutting-edge automotive software solutions. Responsibilities For Jr. QA Framework Developer
- Collaborate with diverse teams on the development of test framework code, tools and infrastructure
- Investigate and fix bugs in the test framework and related tooling
- Triage integration issues, replicate problems, and assist in identifying root causes and solutions
- Escalate potential issues to the Project Manager/Executive team
- Improve the performance, stability and reliability of the test framework and related systems
- Identify areas for improvement in test coverage and methodology
- Work directly with the QA Test Framework Architect on next generation Sonatus test framework
Requirements For Jr. QA Framework Developer
- Bachelor's degree (MS preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software engineering or automated test development using Python
- Full understanding of OOP and SOLID design principles
- Proficient in test methodologies with experience in system-level testing of physical devices
- Familiarity with Linux command line and proficiency in shell scripting
- Experience with PyTest, Behave, or similar frameworks
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Jenkins
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
