Description For Cloud Hosting Specialist/Engineer (onsite)

We're a post-PMF B2B startup with ARR growing exponentially every month.

We're looking to expand our team with an experienced Cloud Hosting Specialist/Engineer who will help set up and manage our cloud hosting infrastructure to provide reliable, secure, and scalable hosting solutions for our customers (accounting firms). This role will involve collaborating closely with our engineering team to ensure smooth deployment, scalability, and optimization of our hosting services.

We're a remote team that's looking to build our teams in San Francisco, CA and Tempe, AZ locations.

Skills & experience we're looking for:

  • Expertise in cloud infrastructure setup and management (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with network security, scalability, and multi-tenant architecture.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

Bonus if (please highlight these):

  • You have experience building web applications.
  • Full-time experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps roles.
  • You have experience setting up cloud hosting for businesses (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • You are detail-oriented and proactive in optimizing infrastructure for cost and performance.
  • You have managed customer-facing hosting solutions with high uptime requirements.
  • You've directly worked with a startup or a founder before.
