Soraban is a post-PMF B2B startup focused on automating data intake and service delivery processes for tax firms, with rapidly growing ARR. They're building software to help accountants automate their client data intake process, with plans to develop a Copilot for accountants.

The DevOps Engineer role is crucial for the company's infrastructure evolution. Currently using Heroku and AWS, they're planning to migrate off Heroku due to scaling limitations. The role involves leading this migration, optimizing cloud costs, implementing site reliability practices, improving CI/CD processes, and ensuring security compliance.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of DevOps/SRE experience, strong expertise in AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes, and a proven track record in scaling web applications. They should be cost-conscious and comfortable leading major infrastructure projects in a fast-paced startup environment.

The position offers competitive compensation ($110K-$170K with equity) and a streamlined interview process typically completed within 14 days. While initially remote, the role will transition to on-site within 3-6 months at either their San Francisco or Tempe location.
