Responsibilities For Automation and Controls Engineer (Raptor)

  • Design, develop, and manage automation projects including factory ideation, machine commissioning and proof of rate capability
  • Architect, write, and debug PLC code for high-volume manufacturing applications
  • Implement ANSI/RIA15.06/OSHA compliant systems for robots, gantries, conveyors, and manufacturing equipment
  • Generate HMI screens for machine operation and troubleshooting
  • Design electrical systems compliant to NEC, NFPA, & UL508A regulations
  • Create and manage schedules and budgets

Requirements For Automation and Controls Engineer (Raptor)

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace/aeronautical engineering or computer science
  • 1+ years of experience in industrial or factory automation design
  • Experience with PLC programming (preferably Siemens SIMATIC)
  • Knowledge of industrial safety standards and regulations
  • Experience with CAD and product lifecycle management programs
  • Proficiency in electrical schematics and single line diagrams
  • Must be U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements)
  • Ability to work long hours and weekends as necessary
