Responsibilities For Automation Design Engineer, Consumer Hardware (Starlink)

  • Design, develop, and manage automation projects from ideation to operational handoff
  • Architect, write, and debug PLC code for high-volume manufacturing
  • Implement ANSI/RIA15.06/OSHA compliant systems
  • Generate HMI screens for machine operation and troubleshooting
  • Design electrical systems compliant to NEC, NFPA, & UL508A regulations
  • Create and manage schedules and budgets

Requirements For Automation Design Engineer, Consumer Hardware (Starlink)

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or computer science
  • Experience with machine design and motion systems
  • Knowledge of PLC programming and industrial software
  • Electrical system design and troubleshooting skills
  • Must be U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements)
  • Ability to work long hours and weekends as necessary
