Responsibilities For Avionics Engineer (Dragon)

  • Responsible for computing, power, instrumentation, and RF communications system level performance and component hardware
  • Develop, execute, and analyze avionics system testing on flight hardware
  • Support build and capsule maintenance through troubleshooting
  • Support mission operations providing real-time input during flight
  • Work collaboratively with teams to define development projects scope
  • Define acceptance testing and qualification requirements
  • Travel to launch sites and customer sites for testing/operations

Requirements For Avionics Engineer (Dragon)

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline or physics
  • 1+ years of experience using Python, C++, and/or MATLAB
  • 1+ years of experience with electrical component design
  • Must be able to pass Air Force background check
  • Must be U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements)
  • Available to work extended hours and weekends if needed
