Responsibilities For Build Engineer, Fluid Systems (Dragon)
- Own piece parts and assembled propulsion sub-systems throughout the manufacturing process
- Develop and qualify new processes to take products from design to production
- Resolve manufacturing discrepancies by collaborating with design engineering, production, and quality teams
- Support day-to-day production of tank and engine assemblies, high-pressure testing, and hardware integration
- Identify, plan, and execute capital equipment, machine, and layout upgrades
- Find and eliminate process waste, streamline production processes, and enable continuous improvement
Requirements For Build Engineer, Fluid Systems (Dragon)
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or physics
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in design, building, testing, manufacturing, or development of mechanical components
- Must be U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements)
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends
- Ability to work directly with hardware on the floor for extended periods
