Responsibilities For Chemical Process Engineer - Starship Launch Systems
- Design build and operate systems that support critical rocket launches and testing
- Perform thermofluid analysis and design tasks for gaseous and liquid fluid systems
- Manage fabrication and installation of fluid systems and construction projects
- Develop technologies for production of cryogenic rocket propellants
- Design, build, and commission air separation, liquefaction, LNG production equipment
- Perform balance of plant calculations for cryogenic systems
- Manage interdisciplinary Engineering projects from concept through activation
- Work closely with operational teams for system design and operation
Requirements For Chemical Process Engineer - Starship Launch Systems
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, or aerospace engineering
- 4+ years of hands-on experience working with fluid systems
- Ability to pass Air Force background check
- Must be willing to travel up to 15%
- Available to work extended hours and weekends as needed
- Must meet ITAR requirements (US citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
